About the Hunt
Our guiding territory, in the Fort St. James area, is over 1000 sq km, prime habitat for trophy Black Bears, Canada Moose, Deer, Wolf & Grizzly. Every season our hunters kill Black Bear over 7’ (nose to tail). The Biggest so far is 7’5”. Our Grizzly population has increased greatly in recent years. We have some of the densest Moose populations in BC. Mature Bulls range from 35” to over 50”.
Our Hunts are fair-chase spot and stalk. We access our territory by 4x4 and boat. Glassing and stalking is our usual method for hunting Bear. To hunt Moose we stay close to lakes and swamps, using various calling techniques. Often setting up in treestands and blinds.
We can adapt the hunting plan
for "hard" or soft" hunts.
We tailor our hunts to each hunter's abilities.

HOW TO BOOK
Confirm your hunt and dates with us, send a deposit by check or bank transfer and your hunt is booked. We will send you an invoice confirming your deposit and itemize all extra costs and final totals.We will also send you detailed information to prepare you for a successful hunt including: Suggested Calibers, What to Bring, How to Drive to Omineca & more. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable. We will plan a payment schedule with you for payment of the balance, so that when you get to Omineca all you have to think about is the hunt.
OMINECA LODGE
Our base camp is Omineca Lodge on a 5 mile long lake. Rustic comfort and a lake full of wild native Rainbow Trout makes the Lodge a great place to bring along family members or other non-hunting companions. Each private guest cabins has electric lights, shower and airtight wood stove. We gather at the Main Lodge for rustic, gourmet meals that will have you asking for the recipe. We have an electric generator in camp, so charging batteries for your electronics is no problem. We also have Radio Telephone and a Sat Phone at the Lodge but your office doesn't have to know that.

GETTING TO OMINECA
You can drive yourself to the Camp. When
you book your trip we will supply you with
a map and directions along with other info.
Our Hunting Territory is in the Fort St. James
area of north central BC. We are three hours
drive from Prince George BC. Prince George
Airport's locator code is YXS. If you are
flying, transfer from Prince George Airport to
the Lodge can be arranged but is
not included in the Hunt Price.
