Our Hunts
We ask that our hunters aim for a Heart-Lung shot.
Bears, especially, can be really tough if the first shot isn't deadly.
Hunters, you must be ready to shoot again as soon as
you've taken your first shot. Bow Hunters always know their first shot must be deadly.
How We Hunt: for Bear the hunt is spot and stalk, for Moose the hunt is a combination of
still hunting (while calling), calling and stalking into rutting areas and spotting & stalking in more open country.
We tailor your hunt to your abilities.
CAMP INFO We have fishing tackle for rent at the Lodge or you can bring your own. We’ve got good fishing, often right off the dock. You are free to use our Canoes or Boats during anytime. We have a Generator at the Lodge for charging Video Batteries etc. There's a Radio Telephone in camp, as well, But you don't have to tell the Office that we do. THE WEATHER Spring Temperatures will range from close to freezing at night to around 60° F during the day. Fall Hunt Daytime temperatures will Be in the 40’s and 50’s. Because temperatures and conditions can vary greatly on any given day, we suggest to carry a daypack while hunting. That way you have can carry extra clothing or stow them when it gets warm. Your day pack will also stow your camera, small flashlight and other gear.

How to get Here
Starting point for a Hunt with us in Omineca Country is Prince George, British Columbia. The Airport Location Number at Prince George is YXS. There are about 8 flights daily from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and Flying time is one hour. We can arrange to meet you at Prince George Airport and transfer you to camp. If you are driving, Prince George is about 8 hours by car from Vancouver and about 12 hours from Calgary, Alberta. We'll supply you with complete instructions on how to drive to the Lodge and further info, when you book. |
